Your First Visit
Initial Consultation for standard appointments is £55 and includes:
- Full consultation
- Any necessary x-rays
- Discussions of treatment options
- Treatment planning
- Full written estimate
Each new patient consultation takes about forty minutes. This time allows us to carry out a thorough clinical assessment of your mouth. We will need you to fill in a medical history form form which you can complete on the day or can be downloaded and bought with you on the day. Please bring a list of your current medication.
Dr Kate Warwick will check outside your mouth, under the jaw and your jaw joints. The skin of the mouth is checked and visual screening for oral cancer is routine. The teeth are all checked individually. Gum health is checked and measurements are taken. We will then take any necessary x-rays to give us all the information needed. Photographs are normally taken at this stage.
Following the examination we will discuss options for treatment that may be required or cosmetic options you may want to consider. You will be provided with a written estimate of the recommendations.
