Referred Patients
Dr Kate Warwick sees patients who have been referred from other dentists for specific treatments including:
- Dental implants
- Snoring Problems
- Surgical Treatment
Surgical procedures and wisdom teeth
These can be removal of teeth or roots, or buried wisdom teeth that need extracting which are more complicated than a simple extraction. Dr Warwick can also do specific procedures to reduce ongoing problems with teeth that have specific problems such as persistent infection.
What to expect
You will be contacted by the practice directly to book a consultation appointment. The fee will include any necessary x-rays to diagnose the problem.
During this visit Dr Warwick will do a full assessment of your mouth and look in detail at the area of concern. She will review any other factors, e.g. medical health, that may have a bearing on the problem. She will discuss the possible options for eliminating the problem. You will be given a written estimate. If the problem is complex you may have a written plan of treatment options sent with your estimate.
By coming to the consultation you are not committing yourself to having treatment. If you are unsure you want to have further treatment for the problem you can discuss all options available.
Dr Warwick will write to your referring dentist following the consultation visit and during your treatment to keep them informed of your progress.
Ongoing Care
You remain a patient of your own dentist and should continue to see them for regular examinations and other dentistry. Dr Warwick works with you own dental practitioner in specific areas of your care to provide the highest standard of dental health. Once your treatment is completed you will return for all your dental care to your referring practitioner.
