Your Dentist - Dr Kate Warwick
Dr Warwick trained and worked as a Dental Technician for over 5 years, before going to Dental School. She qualified from University of Birmingham with a Clinical Distinction in 1995. After qualifying she worked in General Dental Practice in the Black Country whilst studying for a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis at Sheffield University.
Following this she worked as a Senior House Officer in Maxillo-Facial Surgery at Shrewsbury and latterly Birmingham. During this time she gained the ‘Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh’, before returning to General Practice. She has studied advanced Restorative Courses and Dental Implant training in Manchester. She recently completed a three-year Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies at University of Bristol. She has been the Postgraduate Dental Tutor for Shrewsbury and is committed to keeping up to date with the latest techniques
Karen Baddley - hygienist
Karen worked as a Dental Nurse in Telford before training as a Dental Hygienist. Karen qualified as a Hygienist from Leeds Dental Institute in 2000. Since qualification she has worked full time in a variety of Private Practices in the South East and for the last year alongside a Periodontist in Milton Keynes. Karen has recently returned to Shropshire and joined Warwick's Dental Health in 2011. Karen enjoys spending time with her Flat Coat Retrievers and competing them in Dog Agility.
Jo - Dental Nurse
Jo has worked as a Dental Nurse since 1997 and Qualified in 2006 through achieving her NVQ level 3 in oral health care. She joined Warwick's Dental Health team in October 2010. Jo supports Kate in all aspects of patient care and the smooth running of the surgeries.
She enjoys a variety of music, photography, mountain biking and camping. So, pretty much anything outdoors.
Amie - Receptionist
Amie is your first point of contact and will do her best to answer any questions or anxieties you may have before your visit.
Amie has worked in a variety of different roles prior to joining Warwick's Dental Health. As well as being a receptionist Amie is also extending her role to working with Kate in the surgery to have greater knowledge of the treatments and procedures available to our patients. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family
