Your Dentist - Dr Kate Warwick
Dr Warwick trained and worked as a Dental Technician for over 5 years, before going to Dental School. She qualified from University of Birmingham with a Clinical Distinction in 1995. After qualifying she worked in General Dental Practice in the Black Country whilst studying for a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis at Sheffield University.
Following this she worked as a Senior House Officer in Maxillo-Facial Surgery at Shrewsbury and latterly Birmingham. During this time she gained the ‘Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh’, before returning to General Practice. She has studied advanced Restorative Courses and Dental Implant training in Manchester. She recently completed a three-year Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies at University of Bristol. She has been the Postgraduate Dental Tutor for Shrewsbury and is committed to keeping up to date with the latest techniques
Your Hygienists
Pauline Gates
Pauline trained as a Dental Nurse in the Army before moving on to qualify as a Dental Hygienist in 1984 at the Royal School in London. She then gained valuable experience at Charing Cross Hospital, London and in the USA before settling back in Shropshire where she has worked since 1992. Pauline joined Warwick’s Dental Health in 2003 and has continues to develop her skills in patient education and preventive dentistry.
Tina Nielsen
Tina worked as a Dental Nurse and then a Dental Health Educator working in local primary schools before training as a Dental Hygienist. She gained several awards when she qualified as a Hygienist from Guys Hospital, London in 2002. Subsequently she worked full time at a private practice in Chelsea and Tottenham Court Road. She moved to Shropshire in 2002 to start a family and joined Warwick’s Dental Health in 2004. Tina enjoys the balance of parenting and patient care.
